As storytellers, we love to have a close connection with our couples to better understand them and work more fluidly together. This story started much further back than just their wedding day, when we first met with Adam & Vanessa, they where a very sweet couple that gave us the honor of having booked us first out of all their other vendors. This alone was a very honorable moment for us, it truly showed that they genuinely cared about our work and wanted us to create a beautiful film for them. As we arrived to Hanford Ranch Winery on there wedding day, we noticed just how many improvements had been made to the venue itself from the last wedding we shot 2 years ago there, “highly recommend this venue for couples looking for a relaxing country styled wedding”! Adam and Vanessa where very fun to work with, they had an amazing bridal party that we could tell where very close to them, and both where in a very joyful mood which made it simple for us to capture those candid moments you just couldn’t recreate. I’ll be honest, often times when we film weddings, everything could be going great, and then one little event like a poorly done “first look”, or a “first dance”, that wasn’t well choreographed can simply make a film go from an A grade to a low C in terms of quality. With this wedding everything seemed to align perfectly, going from one event to the next on Adam and Vanessa’s day, everything just fell into place. Sometimes you just need a little bit of luck to get the most perfect shots, and we feel that our hard work, mixed with a bit of luck truly helped us create something special for them. We loved working with all of the vendors at this wedding who where very polite and courteous, making it one solid team. Overall we feel like everything came together just right, the memorable vows that had the perfect jokes, to the epic grand entrance that had everyone on their feet, and that perfect mix of the radiant crowd that made the dancing very, “and we mean Very” entertaining, to the unique champagne sendoff that the bridal party enjoyed maybe a bit too much, as we got all of our gear drenched and where laughing on the way back wondering just how we where going to get our cameras cleaned. “Awesome way to end the night that we also highly recommend for our couples”! We tried very hard to capture the whole story and keep that same happy, loving, and intimate feeling when creating this film.
